“All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn’t hurt.” — Charles M. Shultz

As soon as I wake up in the morning, it's like random thoughts are jumping over each other in my brain- can I sleep a little longer? Did I forget to send that work email? are my kids taking the necessary precautions to stay safe from the virus? Will I be alive next year? Do ghosts believe in love? Do moths have noses? Will I ever achieve my life’s goals? Why is it so hot?`And the chatter between my brain cells continues. Sometimes I just let the chatter go on and man do they have interesting conversations. But once I realize that it’s my brain and part of my thoughts I shut them up fast and act like I never wondered if my Shakespeare doll was actually messing up my room!

But the stress and anxiety of these thoughts and the realities of life, take a toll on me, just like it does for the rest of us. Becoming anxious over things that are unknown is part of my personality like it is for many of us. I quietly had panic attacks without realizing it and without telling anyone. The years of keeping things inside have been brutal. I see so many people around me who become angry and bitter from past traumas and others who took stressful situations and turned them around in a positive way.
