A Wanderer, a Dreamer and a Child of the Universe

Meet Sarah Olivia, a beautiful soul who travels the world teaching kids and making music with her husband.

Tell me about yourself?

Well where does one start… my name is Sarah, I’m almost 35 years old. I was born in Canada, but I’m a child of the universe. I love to read, run, hike and bike and Im also passionate about writing and the performing arts. I’m the oldest of 4, and to me family means everything. They are the people that keep me grounded and give me the strength to do what I do.

I met you while teaching overseas, ever since then you have taught in many other countries, tell me about that?

I have lived in Dubai, Kazakhstan and China. I am currently living in South Korea and I am looking to make a move at the end of this school year. I love to travel and connect with people. Living in another country provides such a different perspective from just visiting. It allows you to truly immerse yourself in another culture (if you allow yourself, it is easy to get stuck in an expatriate bubble). In living abroad I have come to realize there are so many ways to live in this world. I have also experienced first hand how different people can be and yet how similar.
